Leedon Green (Former Tulip Garden) was acquired freehold in one of the year’s most significant en bloc transactions. After four joint attempts, the land on which the upcoming prestigious Leedon Green will be built was sold to Yanlord Land Group, a Singapore-listed company.

The property investment company paid S $753 million for the Farrer Road Condominium property, a 20.4 percent premium over the previous reserve price of S $753 million submitted by the property’s occupants.

Leedon Green’s Developer MCL, in collaboration with Yanlord Land Group, offered a colossal sum of approximately S$907 million for the Leedon Green prices. Tulip Garden’s sale price equates to a land value of S$1,790 per square foot, which is higher than recent collection sales in the area.

Yanlord’s CEO, Mr Zhong Sheng Jian, stated that the company’s acquisition of the Leedon Green property successfully marks the company’s entry into the Singapore property market. Additionally, he notes that the Singapore residential market represents an attractive proposition for property developers seeking new growth opportunities. Leedon Green is a freehold property with a high chance of success due to its promise of a better lifestyle for residents.

The Leedon Green, in conjunction with excellent transportation links, presents a unique opportunity for future residents of Leedon Green to live in one of Singapore’s most sought-after property addresses. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2023, allowing future owners of Leedon Green to take advantage of the URA’s significant expansion efforts in Holland Village. Botanic Gardens

Following an extensive four-month long public consultation process, Singapore officially submitted the Nomination Dossier in January 2014.

The World Heritage Site application was released on May 15th, and as a result, the Gardens were recommended to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The discussion was guided by the World Heritage Committee’s evaluation of Singapore’s application at the 39th session (WHC).
